What To Expect

Depart from London and travel out of the city in your air-conditioned coach toward the majestic Windsor Castle. Home of the British Royal Family for 900 years, and location for the 2018 Royal Wedding, Windsor is the world's largest and oldest occupied castle and widely considered one of England’s finest. Explore the lavishly-decorated State Apartments and St George's Chapel with your guide and hear of the castle’s fascinating history and heritage.

Continue on through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago. This ancient stone circle is still a place of strong spiritual significance, and continues to capture the imagination of the many visitors it welcomes each year. Why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served remains a mystery though, so wander around the site at your leisure and decide for yourself why these age-old rocks have found themselves here. Take a look around the visitors’ center and learn the history of this ancient, mysterious site. During your visit enjoy a free interactive map and VOX personal headset that is exclusive to this tour.

Next, hop back in your coach and continue onward to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and widely considered one of England’s prettiest cities. Follow your guide on a panoramic tour of Bath and be enchanted by the town's beautiful streets and alleyways, capturing the sites on camera as you go. You'll see Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. During the tour, you will see the city’s famous Roman Baths — the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world.

At the end of your time in Bath, travel back to London’s Victoria Coach Station where your day trip concludes.

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.

Traveler Tips

Wear comfortable shoes and bring a backpack for umbrellas and such (you can leave personal items on the bus as they lock it up at each site) The buses are large, comfortable and clean.
IF you get motion sickness or dizzy, take some Dramamine with you because the roads can get very twisty heading into Bath.

Good day on Windsor , Stonehenge, Bath
LAURENT_G, Mar 2023
Amazing experience, loved it from the beginning till the end. Even if bath was short thanks to Maria and the driver for make it this day special.
Whirlwind tour, great for first time visit and easy sightseeing
Isabelle_S, Mar 2023
It was a whirlwind tour, which is what I expected and wanted. It was an excellent and easy way to explore for my first day of my first trip to the UK. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Richard was very clear about timelines so that we would be back at the coach bus on time. And there were some people who did not arrive on time or respond to phone calls at the first stop and we had to leave them. So pay attention to your time! I followed our guide’s recommendations and I was able to see everything that I wanted to see in the time allotted. There’s a lot of walking and Stonehenge is the middle of fields and exposed to the wind - be sure to dress accordingly for whatever time of year you visit. And our bus driver Bill was an excellent and safe driver!
Bath was a waste of time....
Kalapurakkal_M, Mar 2023
Bath was a waste of time. Stonehenge is a bit trumped up. Windsor castle was good experience. Overall not worth it. Just go to Windsor only.
This is a scam tour.
Veronica_T, Mar 2023
This is the most horrible tour I have join with Viator. The guide time management is terrible. We only have 20 to 30 mins to view the attractions after deducting the instructions and waiting time. Instead of introducing the attractions, the guide talks some king's scandals. Total waste of my time and money and I didn't get to have a good understanding of the history and culture of London. Total disappointment. Please refund for the bad service provided, I felt cheated.

Great one day tour
Caren_L, Mar 2023
If you have only one day to visit Windsor, Stonehedge and Bath, this is the best way to do it. Tour guid was very knowledgeable and funny . Bus confortable.
An Honest Review
Evelyn_H, Mar 2023
So the morning started at 7:45 where they told us our bus was going to be 45 minutes late with a new departure time of 8:45. In the grand scheme this wasn’t too bothersome because we were just going to have a later arrival in the evening. Once on the bus our tour guide began. She was quite knowledgeable and was wonderfully kind. I thoroughly enjoyed the facts she shared about the various things we passed as well as at each of the stops. The Windsor castle stop was rather rushed compared to the others. And I would have appreciated more time to explore the state apartments and the chapel. Next we were off to Stonehenge which was probably the only thing making the entire trip and the rushed nature of it worth it. Lastly in bath, the tour guide despite us opting not to do the Roman bath tour did give us a small walking tour which was just lovely and really appreciated. Overall the trip was decent but I definitely don’t think I would do anything like it again or would I recommend it to anyone I know well. It’s perfectly fine if you just want to say you’ve been to these places and mark them off a list, but if you want to actually explore the places and spend more than an hour at each I’d definitely not recommend it. The whole trip model is just a poor idea that most likely focuses on getting money from tourists who don’t know much better. I also believe it was our tour guide alone that made our trip as enjoyable as it was. If she hadn’t been so nice I doubt this review would be as positive as it is.
Fantastic day trip

Tracy_S, Mar 2023
All three locations were spectacular and our tour guide Mel was the best. Our driver Berington was also a rockstar!

Great Speedy Tour of Heritage sites
Cj_P, Mar 2023
Great experience if you want to see all of these heritage sites on a short schedule. Day trip can last as long as 12 hours, so it's a plan for a whole day. Our Guide Robert, and driver David were amazing. Robert was friendly and a wealth of knowledge and advice. If you want time to appreciate each of these sites individual experiences may be more beneficial. Windsor could easily take 2-3 hours on location not just counting time in que. Exploring the Roman Baths, Abbey, and surrounding town could easily be a relaxing day trip of its own. Stonehenge is very much a chose your depth experience. Que times, and proceeding to see the site can be quick in the off season, but apparently get quite long in better weather. The Guided tour can take about an hour, but you can just go and take pictures if that's your prerogative and get out of the elements. This tour gives you about 1-2 hours total at each of these sites, good to see but not really dive deep.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
MariaJoanna_A, Mar 2023
Save your time and money. This tour was absolutely terrible. The time my family and I spent on lines were longer than the actual time spent on the sites/attractions. There were no bathroom breaks nor lunch breaks. You would even feel bad for taking a quick bathroom break because you are holding the whole tour. The company that held this tour, should have not cramped the 3 sites in 1 day. We were like a cattle being rushed the whole time. We did not enjoy at all. I regret getting this tour for my family. I advise that you plan your own trip for these places. This is the WORST experience I've had.
Good tour
Randa_H, Mar 2023
Good tour but would've been better with a smaller tour group. The big bus was too much. I think we would've had more time with fewer people.
Awesome day.
Arnold_W, Mar 2023
Covered a lot in one day. Will return another time to spend more time in Bath. Rowan and Marik were exceptional. Rowen was energetic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Marik was an excellent driver. Great trip!
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hello Arnold, Thank you for leaving us a 5* review! We hope to see you again soon on another one of our tours. Best wishes Evan Evans Team
Poorly planned, rushed.
Kartik_P, Mar 2023
Very rushed, lack of time even to take a pic. It all seemed like a check box exercise. No time for any food. It was all pick and go. Would not recommend at all if you have kids.
Great experience 👍
Cyrill_E, Mar 2023
We were with Patricia the tour guide and Greg the driver. It was an amazing experience as we learn English history from thousands of years ago . One day is not enough to soak on picturesque landscape, magnificent building structures with all its rich histtory. Our appreciation to Patricia, she's great.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Dear Cyrill, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion about our services. We are glad that our team did a great job. We will pass on the kind words over to Patricia and the driver Greg. It is our top priority to ensure the highest customer satisfaction is achieved on all of our tours. The Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour is a wonderful tour however it is quite extensive and we understand your point of view that one day is simply not enough. We hope to welcome you onboard another one of our tours in the future! Best wishes Evan Evans Team
Good locations not enough time
TOMMY_A, Mar 2023
The staff from Evan Evans were fantastic ( Jody and Saul), however, the tour drive is 1.5 to Windsor and only 2 hrs on the ground, you lose 45 mins on the waiting line with 5 other groups, at Stonehenge the lines are long to get on the shuttle, the final trip to Bath is probably the only place that you will spend sufficient time to see the Roman ruins and get some souvenirs. Overall, the trip for 3 locations is not worth it because the lack of time
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Hello Tommy , This tour is a fantastic one, and one of our most popular tours however the timing is tricky! As Windsor is the first stop the problem with allowing too much time there is if there is an issue later on in the tour, we might not be able to enter all of the venues. Windsor Castle specifically opens at 10am and our coaches leave Victoria Coach Station at 8 am typically arriving at Windsor by 9;30 latest. Therefore we are as early as we can be before even more grounds of people arrive. There are many travellers visiting the UK who do not have the time to experience these 3 cities on separate days. Therefore this tour is designed as an all in one experience. We are glad to hear you spent a good time in the city of Bath and we hope to see you again on another one of our tours. Bets wishes Evan Evan teams
Great guides!
Deb_s, Mar 2023
We had the best guide Lesley and driver Luan. Lesley knew all the best ways to see each site to make sure you had the time to see the important/interesting areas. She also knew where all the clean rest rooms are!!! She had a wealth of information to share about the history of each site and the area. Luan is the driver you want in bad weather! We drove back to London in a rain storm and the coach never wavered delivering us home safely.
Response from Host, Mar 2023

Great tour guide!!
Allison_H, Mar 2023
Rowan, our tour guide from Evans Evans tours, was amazing. She had so many great stories and history facts, she really made the excursion awesome! Merrick our driver was also great. I will warn you that if you are booking with a large group (more than 9) you could be separated on the buses. We were a group of people 13 and got separated onto two buses.
Response from Host, Mar 2023
