Grand canyon tour
Brian_S, Nov 2022
We were only in las vegas for 4 days, the week of thanksgiving, and wanted to see the grand canyon. We decided on this tour because reviews were good and breakfast and lunch were also included. We were pucked up at exxalibur at the time stated in tour description. Our tour guide Patrick and bus driver Jose were a great duo and who made it a fun trip and got us there and back in timely manner. Patrick pointed out a lot of things along the trip that we never would have known going on our own. The only down side to this trip for us was that we did the Skywalk and it was extremely busy the day we went so it cut down on the time we had to see other things, check out the gift shop, and have our lunch. This was no fault of the tour guide, it just worked out that way. I think this tour was worth the money and we would recommend this tour. Ps. Just be aware that the Skywalk can get busy which will cut down on time to do the other things at that stop
Awesome tour!
Jenny_N, Nov 2022
My husband and I took a guided tour via @comedyondecktours to the Grand Canyon with a quick stop at the Hoover Dam. Our tour guide @patchaseme was awesome! He got us to our destination on time and kept us entertained in between stops. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon while in Las Vegas! The photos won't do it justice but wanted to share.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hey Jenny, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We're so glad you and your husband had an incredible tour with Pat. We hope you can join us for our Hoover Dam tour sometime soon.
Great way to spend a day
Lisa_M, Nov 2022
Ian our guide was absolutely brilliant he made the day with his jokes and is a wealth of knowledge about Las Vegas. I totally recommend doing this tour early on in your visit to Vegas as Ian will share a lot of valuable info on where to go and what to see while you stay. Seeing the Grand Canyon takes your breath away and you have ample opportunities to get that perfect pic.

Excellent tour to the Canyon

Great Guide and Driver
Jesa_P, Aug 2022
Pat, our guide, and Lala, our driver, were great! I was a little hesitant about spending too much of our trip on a bus, but Pat was great and the time went by so quickly. He gave a lot of great recommendations for other things we could do in Las Vegas and also knew a lot about areas we drove through. When we booked this trip, we didn't realize it was a comedy bus tour. It was a great bonus as Pat had a laughing the entire time! After going on this tour we realized that we wouldn't have wanted to visit the West Rim outside of a bus tour like this one. If we had driven ourselves, we would have spent more time parking and shuttling to the different points. However our bus was able to to take us directly to the points, so we didn't have to worry about going from a car to a shuttle bus and back again. That made things so much simpler. The only downside to a bus tour is that you are sort of at the mercy of the timing of the other people on your bus. Pat was very clear on what times we should meet back at the bus, but at two of the stops there were other passengers that didn't listen, which held us up and meant we couldn't spend as much time at the next stop. Other than that, I would highly recommend. Also, Lala was probably the best charter bus driver I've ever seen. Anyone who can parallel park a bus multiple times with no issues is incredibly talented in my book! I usually get motion sick and never did!
Amazing experience!
Lauren_M, Jul 2022
What a great experience! The bus to pick up was on time and we got a seat together no problem. The day began with breakfast which was actually delicious and a lot of fun! Then we headed off to the Hoover Dam. Our guide, Diaz Mackie, was really hilarious and a lot of fun. He kept us entertained on the drive. The Hoover Dam was really cool, and he kept everyone on time by telling us to all set an alarm for a certain time. Then when that alarm went off, we were to head back to the bus. It was nice to not be waiting around for people! Then it was the longest part of the drive out to the Grand Canyon. Again, Diaz was hilarious - we had a stand up comedy show the whole way out. It was great! And despite the name of the tour, I didn't expect it. My husband and I got the helicopter add-on which meant we couldn't do the walk out on the glass part of the first Grand Canyon stop. The helicopter ride was short but a lot of fun! I will say though That I was really stressed about meeting up with the group on time before they left for the next location. We did meet up with them no problem though. The glass walkway ended up being closed that day due to weather so the group wasn't able to go which is too bad, but didn't impact us. When we met up with the group, Diaz showed me some of the things you could "see" in the rocks, and took a bunch of photos of my husband and I. I really love the photos, he took them from all angles! This was really nice of him and I am grateful for it. We got to see 3 spots along the canyon, and at the last one we had the longest amount of time and got a picnic lunch there. The lunch was yummy and we had a lot of fun at this location! Our family that came to Vegas with us all did different tours where they spent most of their time in the helicopter. While it seemed like they had fun, I truly felt like ours was the best because we got to actually spend hours at the canyon, instead of a short time flying over it. On the ride back, we watched Las Vegas Vacation which was a lot of fun! I had never seen it so it was great. Our bus driver saw mountain goats at a park on the way back so we took a short detour to look at them up close which was nice and unexpected! Overall I would absolutely recommend this trip! It was the whole day but a great way to spend a day. Lots of quality time at the canyon, entertainment, food.. what more could you ask for! I would absolutely recommend this if you're looking to visit the Grand Canyon!
Best way to see the Grand Canyon when in Vegas!
Ryan_L, Jul 2022
Our tour guide Anthony was kind, professional, and funny. He did an excellent job of leading the trip! He had a lot of information on the various stops and also Las Vegas in general. The bus was clean and the air conditioning worked great and the driver Carlos was courteous and professional. The hikes around the Grand Canyon were spectacular and the stop at the Hoover dam was also very fun. The breakfast and lunch were also very delicious. We were extremely impressed with this tour and I honestly think this is the best way to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam if you are in Vegas. The whole day was well planned and I didn’t have to think about anything except enjoying the day. Thanks again Anthony and Carlos!
Beautiful canyon views
Jessica_G, Jul 2022
Driver Carlos drove safely and Tour guide Andrew was very informative and knows a lot about Las Vegas and the West Rim area. He was engaging and I felt like I learned a lot of interesting things about the area. The tour had a perfect amount of breaks for food/rest stops and the scenery was beautiful. I felt like the time allocated to each tour stop was perfect- this crew knows what they’re doing. The breakfast and lunch was very good. I travelled with my kids ages 7-12 whose attention span can be limited and they had no complaints about time on bus. I highly recommend this tour. According to a couple who had visited South Rim of Grand Canyon- the West Rim was less crowded and you are able to see the Colorado river and a lot more of the canyon. The tour completed exceeded my expectations! Book it!
Great option to see Grand Canyon in 12 hrs
BHAVYAKGP_R, Jul 2022
Very well orchestrated and the team of Ian and Mel ensured we had a lovely experience. The tips we got from Ian on things to do in Las Vegas was very useful
Really good tour to see Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam

Well organised, well driven by driver and tour guide gave enough information about trip and kept to schedule. Breakfast and lunch menus satisfactory for trip. Extra information and tips given for Las Vegas and any questions answered. Back to enjoy evening activities/bookings.
Canyon not wait to go back
Stephen_H, Jun 2022
Breakfast with other guests. Lunch overseeing the beautiful grand canyon. Skywalk option was a must-see. Our tour guide, Andrew, was very friendly, laid back, knowledgeable, offered great advice for gambling tips, food finds, other things to do in Las Vegas. He was personable and walked around getting to know the guests and offered to take photos of their experiences. Our driver Ray was another good source of information about the trip and went out of his way to make sure we got good photo opportunities
The perfect day trip!!
Daniel_B, Jun 2022
The views of the Grand Canyon were out of this world!! The tour guide (Parker) was great, he gave some really good useful information about the tour (as well as tips for what to do in Las Vegas) would 100% recommend!
Our five star Grand Canyon experience
Eric_J, May 2022
Our guide Andrew was very informative on the subject of the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam and life in Las Vegas and both he and the driver took very good care of us by always giving out water bottles to make sure we were hydrated. The included hot breakfast from Omelet House and the lunch at Guano Point were top notch with breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. If you want to see the Grand Canyon, I highly recommend you book with Comedy on Deck.
Great tour well worth it
David_C, Apr 2022
Wonderful tour, highly recommended. One of our best activities in Las Vegas. The guide was freindly and funny.
There’s a lot of tours to the Grand Canyon - Take this One!!
passfamily, Apr 2022
Our main goal was to see the Grand Canyon. But with Rob as our tour guide and Mel as our driver, this experience was so much more! We saw the real “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, went through the Joshua Tree National Forest, saw the Grand Canyon from Eagle Point and Guano Point, and ended with walking the bridge to see the Hoover Dam. Our guide, Rob, made every minute count. He told interesting stories of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Arizona lore. When there is a long bus ride to and from your main destination, there is always a bit of concern - is that drive going to seem like forever? But in this case, the drive went by very quickly with Rob’s commentary. And Mel handled that huge bus on some pretty curvy roads, and we all felt safe with him at the wheel. Thank you for a great day!!
Fantastic trip to the Grand Canyon
Amy_T, Apr 2022
We both really enjoyed this trip. Our guide Ralph was great and we enjoyed all of the extra information provided along the way and of Las Vegas. The trip was very well organised, clear times and we still had plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see. We did the skywalk add on- you can’t take a camera so do have to pay for photos but it is a pretty cool experience and glad we did it. The food was also really nice that was provided.
Amazing
yuly_M, Mar 2022

An unforgettable experience!
Danny_R, Mar 2022
This was our first family trip to Las Vegas and a tour of the Grand Canyon was part of the trip we were all looking forward to and this tour did not disappoint. Thankfully, the pick up location was not too far from our hotel and we were able to get there without issue. Once picked up, we were very happy that seats for the 4 of us had been set aside. We were concerned since we were the last to be picked up, we would not have seats close together. This was not the case and our tour guide Charlier Hester was fantastic. Overall, the tour was great. We did have a hiccup at our first stop for the Sky Walk. That took longer than the time planned to be there. You spend a great deal of time waiting in line to get to the Sky Walk, only to have about 10 minutes of being out there to see the view. I can't deny, they were beautiful views, but exploring on our own would have given us those views. If you're patient enough, then go for it. The second part of the tour included lunch which was not at all bad but it was a bit chilly that day and food got cold pretty fast. But you can't beat the scenic views of the canyon while you're having lunch. There was plenty of time to get some really good views of the canyon. It was a long day, but in all, very worth it. Charlie and our driver Gregory, were awesome. They made the day go by smoothly and enjoyable. Would we do this tour again? Absolutely!!
Response from Host, Mar 2022
Thank you so much for your 5-star review, Danny! We appreciate your support. We're so glad you had a wonderful tour with Charlie. We're sorry for the long wait at the Sky Walk, unfortunately, it can get busy since it's so popular. We hope you can join us next time for our Hoover Dam tour!
Great addition to a Vegas trip.
David_B, Mar 2022
Took advantage of a trip to Las Vegas to make this side trip to see the Grand Canyon. Probably would not have made a trip solely to see the canyon so, this was an opportunity just couldn’t pass up. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we’re thinking about coming back to spend more time at the West rim.
Response from Host, Mar 2022
Hey David, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We're so glad you had a fabulous tour with us. We hope you can join us for another one of our tours sometime soon.
Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam with Debbie!
Jenny_N, Feb 2022
My friend Debbie and I travel to Las Vegas and took a day trip with Comedy on Deck tour bus company to see the Hoover Dam and west rim and Eagle Rock section of the Grand Canyon. We also drove through Joshua tree national forest. It was a wonderful, astounding and amazing experience through and through. I am quite sure our bus driver's name was Carlos and he was excellent. Our tour guide's name was/is Anthony and he was a great combination of endearing, funny, highly informative, good at connecting with everyone on the bus and also talented at "herding" us cats (Managing to get everyone back on the bus on time or in the right lines on time.) I kept thinking "we" lucked out to have the best tour guide! I would highly recommend!!! And I plan to go again with my husband. My only regret is not going on the skywalk. My friend did and said it was experience of a lifetime. Well, seeing the Grand Canyon was an experience of a lifetime for me. I am afraid of heights and that's why I didn't do the skywalk but next time I will! It was also really interesting learning about the Hualapi tribe ego who live in and come from this magnificent canyon, one of our nation's most magnificent and hallowed treasures.
