Good excursion if you...
Uzair_A, Nov 2022
Good excursion if you want to see Chichen Itza and swim in a cenote (the stop at Villavoid is unnecessary). Chichen lived up to the billing - we only spent a couple of hours there, but could have availed more honestly. The cenote was super refreshing, but the accompanying buffet was below average, with very limited options if you don't eat meat. Only feedback would be on our guide Mike's commentary - while he had some good insights to share, he went on for far too long on the bus to the point it became annoying, with the key message often getting lost in the long speeches. And oh, keep in mind that drinks/water is not included in the buffet - the servers will enthusiastically offer to bring water etc, without telling its separately charged, and then charge inflated prices for them. That aside, it was a good day trip out of Cancun.

Amazing trip
Sabha_S, Jul 2022
A very long day but really worth it! We were picked up as scheduled and went directly to Chichen Itza, try and rent an umbrella as it helps to keep you out of the sun. Our guide Luis was very helpful, polite and informative. The Cenote was amazing and the stop in Valladolid was short but still nice to see a city other than Cancun! Highly recommended!

Wow. Under the guidance of Edwin and Martín, we were gifted with a day in the beautiful Yucatán region that we will never forget. I am really not a fan of tourist-type activities. The destinations, and especially the overall atmosphere Martín and Edwin provided to the tour were incredibly fun to listen to and did the not feel forced. The ruins were incredible, and it was all too clear that Edwín has an immense love for the Maya, as does Martín. My expectation for the Cenote was that we would arrive, squashed in with dozens of other tour groups, with barely any room to swim. Not sure if this was just luck, but this tour got us there about 20 minutes before the mayhem of other tours arrived. Whether or not that was intentional, I now have photos of both a cenote, completely devoid of people, and a photo of my beautiful partner swimming in a cenote with no other swimmers in sight. That’s pretty amazing, and I thank the punctuality of this tour and it’s guides for that. The food buffet offered was exactly what I was hoping it would be, but again, I did not expect it to be as good as it really was. We were really hoping to have an all-in-one experience of real Yucatán food, and they had exactly that. Sopa de Lima, cochinita pibil, and as much of it as you want. We were worried about the quality, being buffet style, but the other night we had tried cochinita pibil in a restaurant known for it in Cancun Centro, and it was nearly as good. By the way- yo soy vegetariano. I advise anybody who is vegetarian to try these dishes. You have all of time in the world to make positive changes in the world using your diet in your home country. In Mexico, you must try the food as the people are very proud of it. Food as very different cultural implications here than it does in the US or other countries. It is very important to immerse yourself in the food if you truly want to know the culture of Yucatán. I highly recommend doing so even as a vegetarian or vegan. Lastly, Valladolid is one of the most tastefully scheduled additions to a tour like this that one could ever hope for. They could have easily made the tour still worth it by just bringing you to experience Chichén-Itzá and a cenote. But they allow you a half hour to explore one of the most beautiful small towns in all of the region. You’ll find shops, street vendors, an amazing chocolate store, ice cream, a beautiful church, a picturesque square… anything you could want to experience in a small town of the region. It was absolutely amazing to be apart of this tour. It would not have been the same experience without Martín and Edwin, and the driver Daniel. Thank you all so much. NOTES for future tourists: The ticket to Chichen-itza is not paid for, nor is the mandatory life vest. Total I think it really only came to 300 pesos or something like that. Rather than telling you what ISN’T included, they tell you what IS. I don’t think it’s meant to be malicious. And again, to all of my fellow vegetarians, try the food. Experience the culture. :)

Great trip! Read if you want lots of details, overall great trip!
Priscila_M, Dec 2021
What a great experience!!! Please try this out! So the day or two before the trip, they send you an email with lots of details which was super helpful. Even talked about that the bus gets a little cold after going swimming so maybe bring my a light sweater, I didnt need it, it wasnt bad but it was thoughtful that they considered that and made us aware of that. The bus ride is long (understandable) but the tour guy started to give us loads of great information and make it funny also so it was nice to hear and be entertained. We did a pit stop before getting to Chichén itze which I liked because it gave us a chance to stretch from being on the bus for an hour. Once we got there, it was pretty crowded but our tour guy got us straight in, he knew what to do. Once we got in, it was incredible! Our tour guy did an amazing job explaining the history of Chichén Itzá. To help us truely understand it, he went out of his way to get a stick and drew it out for us (super helpful to understand) and even did a model with us when explaining the sun/moon and all that. I saw other groups that did not really do that so I really liked that. Out of my whole 5 day trip in Cancun and staying at the resort, eating at the buffet was my favorite. Super authentic which was really nice to have a taste of at one point in Mexico. Not that its a big thing but something that didnt say we were going to get was bottled waters, our tour guys got everyone bottle water when we were at chicken Itzá. Our tour guy was Luiz, thanks for making the trip great! P.s, we missed our time to get picked up one day because we were late but they were able to change my reservation to the next day so Im super grateful for that. Thanks guys!

Juan was a great driver. Pastor and Mike were great guides. They were very accommodating of our large group. Their knowledge of the area was great. The only downfall was the late start.

It was a very long ride, but definitely worth it! The Mayan pyramids were an amazing site to see and walking the grounds with our awesome tour guide Ceasar made for a special experience. The cenote was so much fun! And walking through the little town after was nice and relaxing. Highly recommend this experience! 🥰👏🫶🙌

Great tour
Katie_G, Sep 2022
I enjoyed hearing the Mayan history and folklaw, seeing the temples brought history to life. The tour guide Rey was accommodating and knowledgeable. The Cenote was a wonderful experience and highlighted the natural beauty of Mexico. Much to love about this country. Valladolid was a beautiful town and brought a flavour or mexico outside of the resorts! The long travel time from Cancun was worth it. Highly recommend.

Amber_H, Sep 2022
The ruins were really nice to see and this tour made it easy. It is a very long day but worth it. The food at lunch was good and the restaurant was clean. The cenote was beautiful and refreshing after a day in the bud and heat. Our guide Victor Manuel aka 28 was fun, friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing Day!
Rahsaan_J, Sep 2022
Rey our tour guide and Arturo our bus driver were fantastic! They provided an excellent experience for English and Spanish speakers alike. Throughout the day Rey would provide the tour group with humor and information. Chichen Itza was hot but well worth it! The cenote swim was refreshing and the lunch and tequila tasting were delicious! The last stop in Valladoid with more tequila tasting and more great people. Rey and Arturo are the best and I would definitely recommend this trip! I would do this trip again myself!

Great tour! worth every penny
HAOTAM_P, Aug 2022
We had a great time! With the money. Just knows us a full day trip, travel to and from takes 1-1 hrs so eat a big breakfast. Bring snacks and water and a hat and clothes to change. Our tour guide Aleman and driver alfredo are nice and kind. Aleman did his best with English to explain everything and he's knowledgeable. The bus was always clean! We see also clean is between stops! That's so great!

Our Favorite Excursion
Candice_B, Aug 2022
This was our favorite excursion of our 10 day trip to Cancun & Playa del Carmen. Norma and Ray were our tour guides and they were excellent. They were both very informative, nice, and helpful. Swimming in the cenote was really fun too. We would highly recommend this tour.

good tour with an extra, unnecessary stop
LyleWeldon, Aug 2022
a good tour with some caveats - our main goal was to see Chichen Itza and for that, the tour was a positive experience - we were also looking forward to seeing and swimming in a cenote so stopping at Cenote Saamal for 2 hours (including a buffet lunch) was good, too - but the 30 stop at the small town Valladolid was sort of a waste of time - it wasn't enough time to do anything but walk around the town square and, if we'd had our choice, we would have gone straight back to Playa del Carmen and been able to do something else there - the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgable, the bus was comfortable and highly air-conditioned and the first two stops were well worth the price - overall, a good tour we'd recommend to friends

Fun experience!
Jessica_C, Jul 2022
The tour guides were amazing! Knowledgeable and friendly. The ruins were very cool to see in person and swimming in the cenote after being in the heat felt so good. They have a ledge you can jump into the cenote as many times as you want. My only complaint is the buffet lunch was out of most of the food and it look hours to drop off everyone at the end of the night.

I highly recommend the tour especially with Martin and Tino. They where so accommodating and considerate. Their English and personality was wonderful and it was very informative to learn about the Myan culture. The transportation was on time for pickup. Our kids are ages 4 and 8, and they did well. Tina understood my delicate with my son and I missed getting the original Onyx stone and Tino gave me his off his Own neck, It was so heart felt. Please ask for Tino and Martin for your tour guide. You will not be disappointed.

Fun and also a long day. Our guide Tino was very knowledge and passionate about Maya culture. Giving 4 stars because the activities at the Cenote were a bit disorganised.

Awesome, recommended!
Cristina_R, Jun 2022
We enjoyed the tour. We was staying in a hotel in Playacar, Playa del Carmen. They pick us in a van at a meeting point (Starbucks), then we went to a big and comfortable shuttle with A/C. Julio was our tour guy, he provided us a lot of history information about the three destinations. Chicken Itzá was an interesting and spectacular place to visit. We suggest to wear light cloths for a hot weather season (summer). Our favorite destination was the Cenote, WOW! it was amazing and refreshing. The buffet has a lot of choices it was good, we only paid for the drinks. The last destination was Valladolid but we didn’t have enough time. We just buy coffee and churros (recommended). We buy the basic tour, we paid extra for: 1. $30 per person-taxes @ Chichen Itzá 2. Drinks-Buffet 2. $12 for 3 life jackets and a locker @ Cenote Overall the tour exceeded our expectation!

Wonderful day trip
Janet_V, Jun 2022
This was a great tour. It could have been better with more clear information before the trip. Here is what I wish I knew - take a credit card, you have to rent a life vest for the cenote, lunch is included, and we were at Cenote Saamal for 2 hours (not one) - which was perfect. I also wish I knew there was an option to purchase items at Chichen Itza - there were A LOT of vendors, even inside the park. When we went we had to wear a mask to enter. Besides what I didn't know, it was a great day trip and highly recommend it. The bus we had was very nice and Alan, our tour guide was super informative during and at every stop. The three stops on this tour were worth going to, and I think the order of this tour was good as we seemed to be ahead of the crowd. It was really nice that cold water was offered on the bus. I'd like to specifically thank Alan for so much insight into the Mayan culture and recommendations for lunch items. In addition to the three stops if was beautiful to see everything along the way.
