Ways to visit Uffizi Galleries (Gallerie degli Uffizi)

Due to its immense popularity, the Uffizi Galleries is prone to long lines and extensive wait times—it's best to book skip-the-line admission to maximize your time. The gallery features a number of long, winding art-filled hallways, making it near-impossible to see everything on display, so small-group guided tours and self-guided audio tours are recommended to help you see the top pieces and give some context to the works you’re viewing. A visit is often combined with a stop at the nearby Accademia Gallery, which houses the Statue of David.

Uffizi Gallery Small Group Tour with Guide
Francesca was our guide for our small group tour of 9 people. She was extremely amiable & engaging. She was very knowledgeable & descriptive when it came to the art & did an excellent job of navigating us through the crowds without losing any of us. We learned so much & the tour covered all of the must-see works. There was time after the tour to explore more at leisure. We would highly recommend the tour to anyone considering a visit to the Uffizi.

Our guide was very knowledgeable but with noise from large crowds extremely hard to hear at times. She definitely added much more than a typical audio tour.

Looking for the best of Florence in one day; look no further. This walking tour took us from David to some of the finest art I have seen. The entire experience was well layered and enjoyable.

Florence: Skip the Line Guided Uffizi Tour
Our guide was great and very knowledgeable, but the gallery was incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon and we had a hard time getting close to some of the more famous works. I definitely recommend booking on a slower day. The tour only lasts for about an hour. After that, you have to navigate on your own.
A must see!

Uffizi + David & Accademia - Priority Tickets
Really enjoyed our tour. Our guide Ilaria was very knowledgeable about the history of some of the most important pieces at the Uffizi. Having not had art history in college, it was great. We didn’t have enough time in the Uffizi though. The crowds and some small logistical problems caused us to delay the start. If you see a 2 day pass, I recommend it. David was amazing and again some extra history about Michelangelo and the process was great.
